Classification of medical masks

Medical masks are divided into three categories:

1. Medical protective masks. The standard for masks is the national standard 19083. The main expected use range is to prevent solid particles, droplets, blood, body fluids and other pathogens in the air. It is the highest level of protection. .

2. Medical surgical masks are masks worn by doctors to prevent droplets and splashes of body fluids during invasive operations.

3. Disposable medical masks are used in ordinary diagnosis and treatment environments to prevent droplets and secretions.
